This year’s 5K Walk/Run will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Essex Park.
Schedule of Events:
- 7:00 am Check-in and registration for runners
- 8:30 am 5K Race starts (runners)
- 9:00 am Program (walkers should be registered / checked-in before program)
- 9:15 am Awards presented to runners
- 9:25 am Walkers depart
Participant registration fees:
Adults 19-up $35 (register by August 24, 2009 for $25)
Youth 13-18 $20
Children 12 and under free

You are strongly encouraged to solicit donations for this event. Please consider asking friends, relatives, neighbors, and co-workers to sponsor you. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
Prizes will be awarded to registrants with the highest donation amounts collected.
All registered participants will be eligible for additional prizes to be awarded the day of the event, and will be given a commemorative t-shirt.
We will have our Silent Auction running again this year – look for many great items to bid on!! (Auction winners will be notified after the walk and payment arrangements will be made at that time.)
5K Walk/Run starts and finishes at Essex Park, and follows Rochester’s trail system. Refreshments served and prizes awarded after the walk.
